MALTA FILM WEEKEND - IMPROVISED FILMMAKING WORKSHOP
With two improvised feature films under their belts, Ivan Malekin and Sarah Jayne from Nexus Production Group, have developed their own innovative way to shoot films. Alongside the Malta Film Weekend, the co-directors will share their process on how to work with actors and make a film without a script. From finding ideas, to directing actors, to camera coverage and post production, aspiring and intermediate level filmmakers alike will learn about the benefits and creative freedom of improvisation, and how putting away the script can lead to new discoveries and make your own work fresh and exciting.
